I wanted to share the remarkable work of the inaugural class of So Percussion Summer Institute composers. I'm embedding video of each piece below, in the order in which they were read at the close of this summer's institute. It's unbelievable to me that So were able to read these so blisteringly well with precious little time with the scores. I'm honored to have mentored these six composers over the course of developing these pieces, and grateful to So for pulling me in.
